Hot-pushed (hot-pressed) cross also called hot-pressed formed cross, hot-pushed cross four-way, belongs to steel butt-welding pipe fittings. During production, the seamless pipe blank is heated and placed into the mold, and through radial extrusion the metal material flows toward the branch pipe position, integrally forming the cross four-way structure, which is different from hydraulically bulged crosses and welded crosses. The products implement standards such as GB/T12459, GB/T13401, ASME B16.9, SH/T3408, etc., the connection method is butt welding, materials can be selected from 20# carbon steel, A105, 304/316L stainless steel, chrome-molybdenum alloy steel, etc., specifications cover DN15-DN2000, wall thickness Sch10~Sch160, XXS thickened grade, divided into equal-diameter crosses and reducing crosses two categories. At factory delivery, MTR material certificates, hydrostatic tests, and UT non-destructive inspection reports can be provided, supporting production to multiple standards including national standard, American standard, European standard, and Japanese standard.
Purchasing & Delivery
Standard stock specifications of carbon steel hot-pressed equal and reducing cross fittings in small and medium diameters compliant with both Chinese national standards and American standards support a minimum order quantity of 1 piece, and can meet the needs of high-pressure pipeline network emergency repair, local pipeline modification, equipment node replacement, and engineering inspection and acceptance submission. The warehouse regularly stocks standard hot-pressed cross fittings in carbon steel and stainless steel with conventional wall thickness in small and medium diameters, and ships within 24-48 hours after order confirmation. The delivery time for non-standard custom orders must be confirmed based on diameter, wall thickness, material, and quantity; please contact us with your specific requirements so we can make arrangements. Packaging uses industrial moisture-proof and shock-proof protection, with key protection for welding bevels and pipe end faces; carbon steel pipe bodies are sprayed with anti-rust oil, stainless steel cross fittings are individually isolated for protection, small and medium diameters use bubble film plus hard cardboard boxes, and medium and large diameters use solid wood pallets, steel strapping, and multi-layer waterproof wrapping film. For export orders, fumigated pallets, custom English shipping marks, and bilingual packing lists can be provided.
Service & Support
Before-sales support can provide high-pressure working condition selection, wall thickness and pressure matching, material working condition verification, non-standard drawing optimization, and pipeline solution guidance. During-sales support tracks hot-pressing forming, flaw detection quality inspection, and anti-corrosion shipping progress to ensure consistent batch quality. After-sales support provides welding and installation guidance, pipeline network commissioning, pressure testing, troubleshooting, and operation and maintenance technical support. Before leaving the factory, products undergo non-destructive flaw detection, hydrostatic pressure testing, spectral re-inspection, and precise dimensional inspection. Genuine products enjoy a 12-month official warranty. During the warranty period, for quality problems such as forming defects, substandard materials, pressure leakage, and dimensional deviations caused by non-human overpressure or improper installation and use, we provide free remanufacturing and free replacement, and bear the round-trip logistics and engineering rework losses. Unused standard products support seven-day no-reason return and exchange, after-sales support responds quickly within 2 hours, and dedicated technical liaison can be arranged for large projects.
FAQ
What is the difference between a hot-pressed cross fitting and an ordinary welded cross fitting?
Hot-pressed cross fittings are formed in one piece by integral medium-frequency heating, with no spliced welds, a continuous and dense metal structure, better pressure resistance, high-temperature resistance, and fatigue resistance, and are suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-risk industrial working conditions. Ordinary welded cross fittings have spliced welds, and the weld area is prone to stress concentration, with a relatively higher risk of leakage and cracking under high pressure or temperature fluctuation conditions.
Which pipeline systems can hot-pushed cross fittings be used in?
They are mainly used in high-temperature and high-pressure process pipelines in petrochemicals, oil and gas transportation, power plants, coal chemical industries, water treatment, and overseas EPC projects to achieve four-way medium splitting and collection. They are not suitable for ordinary low-pressure civil water supply and drainage networks.
According to which standards can they be produced?
Production is supported according to standards such as GB/T12459, GB/T13401, ASME B16.9, and SH/T3408, and supply can also be made according to European standards and Japanese standards. Please contact us to confirm which set of standards is used for a specific project.
How should materials and specifications be selected?
Material options include 20# carbon steel, A105, 304/316L stainless steel, chrome-molybdenum alloy steel, etc. Specifications cover DN15-DN2000, wall thickness Sch10~Sch160, XXS, and are divided into equal-diameter and reducing types. Selection must be based on the medium, temperature, pressure, and connecting pipeline parameters. You are welcome to contact us for assistance in confirmation.
What quality documents are provided at delivery?
MTR material certificates, hydrostatic test reports, and UT nondestructive testing reports can be provided. If other inspection items or third-party witnessing are required, please contact us to confirm the specific arrangements.
What are the minimum order quantity and delivery time?
For conventional national standard and American standard general small- and medium-diameter carbon steel hot-pressed crosses, in-stock specifications support an order minimum of 1 piece, and shipment is made within 24-48 hours after order confirmation. The delivery time for non-standard custom orders must be confirmed based on diameter, wall thickness, material, and quantity. Please contact us with your specific requirements so arrangements can be made.
How do we communicate about non-standard customization?
We can undertake customization of thick-wall, large-diameter, special-shaped, special-material, and high-pressure non-standard crosses, and support one-on-one hot-pressed forming production according to customer drawings, technical agreements, or imported equipment parameters. Please provide diameter, wall thickness, material, quantity, applicable standards, and drawings or technical agreements, and we will assist in confirming the plan and quotation.
How are packaging and foreign trade shipping arranged?
Industrial moisture-proof and shock-proof protective packaging is used, with key protection for welding bevels and pipe end faces. Small and medium diameters use bubble wrap plus hard cartons; medium and large diameters use solid wood pallets, steel strapping for locking, and multi-layer waterproof stretch film. For foreign trade orders, fumigated pallets, customized English shipping marks, and bilingual packing lists can be provided, suitable for full truckload, sea freight, and long-distance land transport.
