Plate-welded cross, also known as spliced-welded cross, rolled-welded cross or steel plate assembled-welded cross, is a welded pipe fitting we produce to meet the needs of four-way diversion, confluence, main pipe branching and pipe network node conversion for ultra-large diameter pipelines. Compared with integrated forming processes such as hot pushing, hydraulic bulging and integral forging, the plate-welded spliced-welding process is not limited by mold size and can produce specifications from DN600 to DN4000, with wall thickness covering 6mm to 60mm, and supports non-standard structures such as equal diameter and reducing, eccentric reducing, inclined cross, and extended straight pipe sections. The products implement welding pipe fitting standards such as GB/T13401, ASME B16.9, SH/T3408, DIN, etc., and the pressure-bearing capacity is suitable for atmospheric pressure, low pressure and medium pressure working conditions from 0.6MPa to 4.0MPa, used for conveying non-flammable, non-explosive, non-ultra-high-pressure media such as tap water, sewage, rainwater, circulating water, low-pressure gas, ventilation flue gas and ordinary industrial fluids. Commonly used materials include Q235B, Q345B low alloy, 20# carbon steel, 304/316L stainless steel and weathering steel, and the connection method is standard butt-welding bevel.

FAQ
What is the biggest difference between plate-welded equal tees and hot-pushed, hydraulic, and forged equal tees?
Plate-welded equal tees are formed by rolling steel plates and fabricated welding, not limited by the mold size of integrated forming equipment, and are mainly used for medium- and low-pressure working conditions with ultra-large diameters above DN600, with no upper limit on diameter and capable of non-standard customization. Hot-pushed, hydraulic bulging, and forged equal tees are all integrated forming processes, limited by equipment molds and only suitable for small- and medium-diameter and high-pressure clean working conditions, and cannot produce large-diameter pipe fittings. Large-diameter municipal water conservancy projects currently mainly use plate-welded fabricated-welded equal tees.
What is the largest diameter of plate-welded equal tees you can produce? Can wall thickness and material be customized?
We can produce plate-welded equal tees with diameters of DN600–DN4000, with wall thickness covering 6mm–60mm, and support customization of any wall thickness, any reducing ratio, any length, and special-shaped structures. Material options include Q235B, Q345B low alloy, 20# carbon steel, 304/316L stainless steel, weathering steel, and special low-carbon steel. For specific combination schemes of diameter, wall thickness, and material, please contact us to confirm.
What pressure and media are plate-welded equal tees suitable for?
The product is pressure-adapted for atmospheric pressure, low-pressure, and medium-pressure working conditions of 0.6MPa–4.0MPa, and is used to transport non-flammable, non-explosive, non-ultra-high-pressure media such as tap water, sewage, rainwater, circulating water, low-pressure gas, ventilation smoke, and ordinary industrial fluids. It is not suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, flammable and explosive, or ultra-precision clean pipeline systems. If your working condition parameters exceed the above range, please contact us to confirm whether there is a corresponding solution.
How are the minimum order quantity and delivery time arranged?
Conventional DN600–DN1200 standard wall thickness, conventional material general plate-welded cross fittings support a minimum order of 1 piece, and can be used for single-point emergency repair at construction sites or local renovation of pipeline networks. The warehouse regularly stocks DN600–DN1000 conventional carbon steel standard parts in stock, and ships within 48 hours after order confirmation. The delivery time for oversized non-standard custom parts is determined according to diameter, wall thickness, material, and quantity; please contact us to confirm the production scheduling cycle.
What inspections are carried out before the product leaves the factory? What does the warranty cover?
Before leaving the factory, 100% of plate-welded cross fittings undergo full inspection of weld seam flaw detection, hydrostatic pressure testing, dimensional rechecking, and appearance anti-corrosion inspection. Genuine products uniformly enjoy a 12-month official warranty. During the warranty period, for non-human-caused overpressure or improper installation and use, any quality problems such as weld seam cracking, leakage, structural deformation, material inconsistency, or anti-corrosion coating peeling will be repaired free of charge, remade free of charge, and replaced free of charge. Unused standard products support seven-day no-reason return and exchange.
Can customization be made according to drawings or on-site measured data? What surface anti-corrosion options are available?
Yes. We support one-to-one precise reproduction production according to construction drawings, engineering technical agreements, or measured data from old pipeline networks. We can produce special-shaped structures such as eccentric reducers, inclined crosses, extended straight pipe sections, and non-standard bevel angles, and can laser-engrave engineering numbers, specification parameters, and LOGO marks.
